Since its inception SCE has considered the development of scan clients as one of its core competencies. Our scan clients support most common operating systems like UNIX, SOLARIS, Windows, LINUX and MAC OS X.
Initially it was our primary goal to support the technologically demanding production scanners in the SCAMAX© series from our partner InoTec. Our goal was to provide software products that were intuitive to operate, provided highest throughput rates and produced outstanding image quality. In the meantime we have added workgroup scanners as an additional target for our scan applications.
The software development included the creation of high-performance image processing functions. Some of them are embedded directly in the scan clients, others are available as separate post-processing products.
The aim of our efforts is the provision of efficient and structured scanning for the benefit of our customers.
